1910 FN specifications

This machine is very close to original specification. The only known deviation is the mudguards which have been fiddled with at some time. Much of the original nickel, and some of the original enamel remains in tact.

Engine: 5 hp FN, 4 cylinders in line, 52.7 mm x 57 mm 496 cc, atmospheric inlet valves, 5-bearing crank
Lubrication: Drip feed and hand pump, total loss. Windows in crankcase
Ignition: Bosch FN10 magneto, separate distributor
Carburettor: Single lever FN. Bowden extra air inlet fitted to manifold
Transmission: Single speed with flywheel clutch
Frame: FN cradle
Wheels: 26 x 2 1/2 beaded edge
Brakes: Internal expanding (foot) and contracting band (hand) fitted to same drum on rear wheel
Tanks: Separate brass tanks for oil (front) and fuel
Builder: Fabrique Nationale d' Armes de Guerre, Herstal, Belgium
Original Finish: Grey enamel. Small parts nickel plated
