1923 FN specifications

This machine has suffered some indignities in its life to date, but is being returned to original specification. Although the engine is probably not the original, it is correct for the year.

Engine: 8 hp FN, 4 cylinders in line, 52 mm x 88 mm 748 cc, side exhaust overhead inlet valves, 2-bearing crankshaft
Lubrication: Mechanical pump from sump to big end dip trays
Ignition: Scintilla fixed ignition magneto
Carburettor: AMAC
Transmission: FN 3 speed with multi-plate clutch
Frame: FN cradle
Wheels: 26 x 3 beaded edge
Brakes: Internal expanding (foot) and contracting band (hand) fitted to same drum on rear wheel
Tanks: Single tank for fuel/oil
Builder: Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre, Herstal, Belgium
