
Vivian Lewis established a bicycle business in
Adelaide, South Australia in 1892. As the motor age dawned in the late 1890s Lewis
embraced motor cars and motor cycles with enthusiasm. Vivian Lewis Limited went on to
produced a large number of motorcycles - by Australian standards at least - before
production ceased in the mid 1920s. On this web site, we try to capture some of the
vibrancy of the motor age at the Lewis Cycle and Motor Works.
